EADly Terms of Use

These Terms govern the EADly mobile app and eadly.app, together called the Service. The Service is published and operated in the United States by Ethos Systems, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Please read these Terms. You can use many features without an account. You control the data and documents you add. You may stop using EADly at any time.

1. What EADly is

EADly is an informational organization tool for personal immigration records, dates, documents, reminders, public government information, and related history. It can be used locally without an account. Optional account, backup, feedback, purchase, and future USCIS API features use online services described in the Privacy Policy.

EADly is not a law firm and does not provide legal or immigration advice. It does not create an attorney client relationship, prepare or file government forms, communicate with a government agency for you, or determine immigration status, eligibility, employment authorization, admission, travel safety, or the outcome of a petition or benefit request.

Dates, counters, reminders, document checks, case status information, and public data may be incomplete, delayed, outdated, or inapplicable to you. Always verify important information with official sources, your Designated School Official when applicable, and qualified immigration counsel. Do not rely on EADly as your only source for a deadline.

EADly is a private service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to USCIS, DHS, ICE, SEVP, the U.S. Department of State, another government agency, a school, a Designated School Official, or an employer. Government names and data are used only for identification and information.

If you face a possible status violation, denial, removal risk, expiring authorization, missed deadline, or another urgent issue, promptly contact qualified counsel, your school, employer, or the relevant agency. Do not delay professional assistance because of the Service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old. An account is optional and is used only for features that require one. You may sign in with an email one time code, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google. You are responsible for maintaining access to the identity method you choose and for activity under your account.

An optional PIN and device biometric lock protect local access. They are separate from account sign in. If you forget a PIN and cannot verify a connected account, recovery may require clearing local app data.

3. Backups and your responsibility

Automatic backup is optional. New backups are encrypted on your device before they are stored in the iCloud Drive or Google Drive account you select. Ethos cannot read the backup or recover a missing iCloud Keychain key, Google Drive passphrase, or recovery code. Provider availability, account access, quotas, outages, and retention rules can affect recovery.

You may also export a password protected .eadlybackup file. Ethos does not receive the file or its password and cannot recover a forgotten password. You are responsible for keeping the file and password safe, controlling copies, and deleting copies you no longer need.

A confirmed import replaces local EADly data on that device. Although the app validates files and attempts a rescue snapshot and rollback, no restore process can prevent every loss, duplication, corruption, or incompatibility. Keep an independent copy until you verify the result.

Apple, Google, or another destination you select applies its own terms to stored or shared copies.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

Use the Service unlawfully or in violation of immigration, export, sanctions, privacy, or other law.
Check a USCIS receipt that you are not authorized to track.
Store content you do not own or have permission to use.
Use government data for unlawful, discriminatory, deceptive, or harassing activity.
Access another user's data, circumvent security or rate limits, disrupt the Service, or probe security without written authorization.
Reverse engineer or extract source code except where applicable law permits it.
Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without written permission.

We may restrict access for a violation of these Terms or a legal requirement.

5. Free and EADly Plus

EADly provides a Free tier and may offer one auto renewing subscription tier called EADly Plus through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The purchase screen identifies the features and limits included in each tier. Store availability, localized prices, taxes, trial eligibility, offers, renewal terms, and payment terms are shown by the applicable store before confirmation.

Free retains the essential immigration organization core, official sources, local editing and deletion, manual encrypted backup, and every record already saved. Plus provides additional organizational capacity, automatic encrypted backup, expanded history tools, and earlier reminder controls. Payment never determines an immigration or legal conclusion. If Plus ends, existing local records and files are not hidden or deleted, but new Plus only additions and automatic backup writes may stop.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through the applicable store. A trial converts to the displayed paid subscription unless canceled before it ends. Eligibility for a trial or offer is determined by the store. Deleting EADly or an EADly account does not cancel a store subscription.

Apple or Google processes payments. RevenueCat helps verify entitlements. Ethos does not receive your full payment card number. Refunds and billing disputes follow the store's policies. Restore Purchases rechecks an existing store entitlement and does not create a new purchase.

6. USCIS and third party services

The current public app may open the official USCIS Case Status website when you choose to check a saved receipt. Optional API based tracking may be offered only after USCIS grants production access. It would be subject to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any USCIS requirements.

The Service links to or uses third party services, including government sites, Apple, Google, RevenueCat, Supabase, and storage destinations you select. We do not control their availability, security, retention, or results. Government data is shown as received and may differ from an official record.

Historical H 1B employer data describes past filings. It does not predict or guarantee sponsorship or any immigration outcome and should not be the sole basis of an employment, financial, or immigration decision.

7. Ownership and license

Ethos Systems, LLC operates the Service under license. The software, design, text, and EADly branding are protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and applicable store rules. You retain rights to the data and documents you store.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and noninfringement, to the extent permitted by law.

We do not warrant that information, calculations, reminders, notifications, public data, case status results, backups, imports, restores, or conflict checks are accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, secure, or suitable for your circumstances. We do not warrant any government, immigration, employment, admission, travel, petition, or benefit outcome.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ethos Systems, LLC and its members, managers, employees, licensors, and service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages. This includes lost status or benefits, missed deadlines, lost work or income, lost data, or the cost of another service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, total aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. If you paid nothing, total liability will not exceed USD 100. Limits that are not permitted in your jurisdiction apply only to the fullest extent allowed there.

10. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Ethos Systems, LLC and its members, managers, employees, licensors, and service providers against claims and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of another person's rights.

11. Termination and changes

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Account deletion does not cancel a store subscription. We may suspend or terminate online access for breach, legal requirement, security risk, or discontinuation, with reasonable notice where practicable.

If the Service closes or changes operator, personal information will be handled as described in the Privacy Policy. USCIS production access is specific to an approved operator and cannot be transferred. Any API based tracking would stop unless a new operator receives its own approval.

We may update the Service or these Terms. Minor changes may be posted with a new effective date. For a material change, the app will provide a plain language summary and request active consent before optional online features continue. You may continue using local features and official links under the prior terms, or export and delete your data.

Sections concerning service limitations, ownership, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, governing law, and platform terms survive termination.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Wyoming law and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict of law rules, except where mandatory consumer law in your place of residence applies. State and federal courts in Wyoming have exclusive jurisdiction unless mandatory law requires another forum.

If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum permitted extent and the remaining provisions remain effective. These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the entire agreement about the Service.

13. Apple App Store and Google Play

If you obtained EADly from the Apple App Store or Google Play, that store's terms also apply.

These Terms are between you and Ethos Systems, LLC, not Apple Inc. or Google LLC. The platform provider is not responsible for EADly or its content.
The license is limited to use on a device you own or control as permitted by the applicable store usage rules.
The platform provider has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. Ethos provides support at support@eadly.app.
As between Ethos and the platform provider, Ethos is responsible for addressing claims about EADly, including product liability, legal compliance, and intellectual property claims, to the extent required by law.
You represent that you are not in a country subject to a United States Government embargo or designated as supporting terrorism, and that you are not on a United States Government prohibited or restricted party list.
Apple Inc. and its subsidiaries are third party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
