What EADly is
EADly (also written Eadly) is an app for iPhone and Android that keeps a person's U.S. immigration history in one place: academic programs, work authorization, employment, travel, I-94 admissions, petitions, cases and the documents behind them. App Store Google Play
On both stores it is listed as "EADly: OPT & STEM OPT Tracker." App Store Google Play The Terms of Use describe it as "an informational organization tool for personal immigration records, dates, documents, reminders, public government information, and related history." Terms of Use
It is local-first. Records are stored on your device, and you can use it without an account. Privacy Policy
Who EADly is for
- F-1 students, from before arrival (the I-20, SEVIS fee, DS-160, visa interview and arrival) through study, CPT, OPT and STEM OPT. App Store
- People moving from F-1 to H-1B, and people who start directly with current H-1B or O-1 records. Earlier F-1 history can be added later. App Store
- People with an employment-based green card case (PERM, EB-1 or EB-2 NIW), saved beside their current status. After approval, card renewal and travel facts take over. App Store
The Terms of Use say you must be at least 16 years old to use EADly. Terms of Use
What EADly does
| Area | What it does with the facts you save |
|---|---|
| Timeline | Programs, work authorization, employment, petitions, cases and admissions in date order, with upcoming milestones and what needs attention. |
| OPT and STEM OPT | Filing windows from your program end date or OPT EAD end date, and an unemployment-day count from your EAD dates and saved jobs, against the 90- and 150-day limits. |
| I-94 and admissions | Every CBP, paper and I-797A-attached admission record kept in date order with its source. Conflicts and corrections are kept, not merged. |
| H-1B and O-1 | Cap registrations by season and outcome, petitions, I-797A and I-797B notices kept apart, cap-gap facts from saved dates, and employment-end review dates. |
| Green card cases | An employment-based case beside your current status, with its receipts, dates and documents. |
| Travel | Trips, plus passport, visa, I-20 signature, I-94 and EAD dates that turn orange as they get close, and reminders before international trips. |
| Reminders | Local reminders on your device for saved dates and review tasks. |
| Document Vault | I-20s, EAD cards, I-94s, approval notices and other files, encrypted on the device and linked to the record they belong to. |
| Official sources | Official government links, step-by-step guides that cite official sources, and a reporting log for what you sent your DSO or the SEVP Portal. |
| USCIS receipts | Saves receipt numbers and opens the official USCIS Case Status website when you choose. |
| Tax season | U.S. day counts per calendar year from your saved I-94s and trips, and IRS due dates. It does not decide tax residency. |
| Backups | A password-protected encrypted backup file on Free, and automatic end-to-end encrypted backup to your own iCloud Drive or Google Drive with EADly Plus and an EADly account. |

What EADly does not do
- It is not a law firm. The Terms of Use say EADly "does not provide legal, immigration, or tax advice" and does not create an attorney-client relationship. Terms of Use
- It is not affiliated with the government. EADly "is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to USCIS, DHS, ICE, SEVP, the U.S. Department of State, another government agency, a school, a Designated School Official, or an employer." Terms of Use
- It does not file anything. It does not "prepare or file government forms" or "communicate with a government agency for you." Terms of Use It does not connect to SEVIS, and it does not report to your DSO, SEVP or USCIS for you.
- It does not decide your status. It does not determine "immigration status, eligibility, employment authorization, admission, travel safety, or the outcome of a petition or benefit request." Terms of Use
- It does not fetch case status. The public app opens the official USCIS Case Status website for a receipt you save. The Privacy Policy says "EADly does not retrieve or monitor the result." Privacy Policy
- It is only as complete as what you enter. The Terms say dates, counters and reminders "may be incomplete, delayed, outdated, or inapplicable to you," and ask you to verify important information with official sources, your DSO and qualified immigration counsel. Terms of Use
Privacy and where your records are stored

- "An EADly account is optional."
- "On iOS and Android, EADly encrypts local records, sensitive session values, and saved account copies automatically, for Free and Plus. Documents stored in the Vault are also encrypted."
- "Optional automatic backups are encrypted on your device before they are stored in the iCloud Drive or Google Drive account you select. Ethos does not receive the backup contents or decryption credentials."
- For a manual backup file: "The app encrypts new files on your device using AES 256 GCM." Ethos "cannot recover a forgotten password."
- "We do not sell personal information, show advertising, or use advertising trackers. Analytics is off by default."
If you turn analytics on, the Privacy Policy says EADly "blocks names, emails, exact dates, employers, schools, receipt numbers, files, notes, and similar values." Privacy Policy The full policy is at eadly.app/privacy.

How EADly differs from a spreadsheet
A spreadsheet can hold the same dates. EADly adds a few things on top, and it is still only as complete as what you enter:
- Date rules with their sources. It applies published rules to your saved dates, such as the OPT filing window from your program end date and the 90- and 150-day unemployment limits from your EAD dates and jobs, and shows where each rule comes from.
- Reminders. Saved dates and review tasks become local reminders on your phone.
- Separate records. Several I-94s, petitions, registrations and programs stay separate and in date order instead of being overwritten.
- Documents and backup. Files sit next to the record they prove, encrypted on the device, with an encrypted backup file you control.

Common questions
Is EADly free?
EADly is a free download. The essential core, essential alerts, official sources, editing, deletion, manual encrypted backup and every saved record stay free. EADly Free holds every F-1 job (OPT, STEM OPT and CPT), one saved trip, one H-1B or O-1 employment or activity record per petition period, one Vault document and one stand-alone USCIS receipt. EADly Plus, a monthly or annual subscription or a one-time Lifetime purchase, lifts those limits and adds automatic encrypted backup, export tools and custom reminder timing. The App Store and Google Play show current prices.
Is EADly a law firm?
No. EADly is an informational organization tool. It does not provide legal, immigration or tax advice, does not create an attorney-client relationship, and does not determine immigration status, eligibility or employment authorization. Verify important dates with official sources, your DSO and a qualified immigration attorney.
Does EADly connect to SEVIS or USCIS?
No. EADly does not connect to SEVIS, file anything, or communicate with a government agency for you. It saves USCIS receipt numbers on your device and opens the official USCIS Case Status website when you choose; it does not retrieve or monitor case status. EADly is not affiliated with USCIS, DHS, ICE or SEVP.
Where is my data stored?
On your device by default. The Privacy Policy says immigration records, documents, employment records, travel records, reminders and app settings are stored on your device, and Ethos does not receive them unless you choose an online feature. On iOS and Android, local records and Vault documents are encrypted. Optional automatic backups (EADly Plus, with an EADly account) are encrypted on your device before they reach the iCloud Drive or Google Drive account you select.
Who makes EADly?
EADly is published and operated in the United States by Ethos Systems, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, under license. The App Store and Google Play list the developer as Ethos Systems LLC. Contact support@eadly.app.
Does EADly work for H-1B and O-1?
Yes. You can start with current H-1B or O-1 records, or keep an F-1 to H-1B transition, and add earlier F-1 history later. EADly keeps cap registrations, petitions, I-797A and I-797B notices, I-94 records and employment or activity records separate. It also keeps employment-based green card case records beside your current status. It does not decide whether cap-gap or any grace period applies to you.
Is EADly on Android?
Yes. EADly is on Google Play for Android and on the App Store for iPhone. Automatic backup with EADly Plus uses iCloud Drive or Google Drive on iPhone, and Google Drive on Android.
